Roses From My Garden

45cmx 60.5cm (17” x 23.7”") Cradled wood panel

Mixed media: Acrylic paint, acrylic pours resin and glass balls on a cradled wood panel.

This painting was inspired by my garden in our new home. At the front of the house is a row of beautiful white and pale pink roses. I often cut them and arrange them in a vase for my table. Arranging flowers from my garden is a wonderful and pleasurable thing I have been doing all my life. This would be a shared experience by many people I am sure! When I was very young we were given a small spot in our family garden to plant flowers. I would clean my room each week and pick flowers for a tiny vase I had and put them on my dressing table.
