When I was a young girl "Pretty in Pink" was a common saying for little girls. Girls wore pink and boys wore blue. One generation later my daughter refused to wear pink from the age of 3! Her choices were very bright colours and even black. I was sometimes taken aback by her choices of colour and style but never questioned her! She showed such confidence when she chose her cloths at the age of 3. Something I was never given was a choice!
